Job Description
Current projects include determining the mechanisms of resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitors in ALK- and EGFR-driven lung cancer, discovering combination therapy options for PI3K-mutant lung cancer, and defining the roles of SOX9 and FILIP1L during lung cancer development and progression.
The PI is committed to supporting the candidate’s academic career development and research progress, including the exploration of new project areas and collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design short- and long-term career and laboratory goals
• Actively engage in lung cancer-focused research efforts including preclinical drug screens on human patient-derived models in cell culture and in mice and study downstream pathways mechanisms through, but not limited to, western blotting, cloning, spatial profiling, genetic mouse models, under the guidance of the lab PI and lab faculty
• Actively pursue fellowship grants
