Job Description
Individuals who have completed residency training, PhD or other terminal degree may apply for a research fellowship in nutrition. The objective of this program is to provide research training in the nutritional sciences to physician scientists, basic researchers, and behavioral scientists who are committed to prevention of disease and health promotion through careers in human nutrition. Nutrition Training Faculty provide the foundation of nutrition research. Areas of interest include obesity and energy balance; behavioral research related to eating & obesity; health promotion & nutrition education; implementation science; molecular, genetic, and environmental basis of insulin resistance and Type 2 diabetes; micronutrient homeostasis and effects of nutrient deficiency states; global nutrition; maternal and fetal nutrient utilization; fetal origins of adult disease, human aging; and the epidemiology of nutrition-related conditions
